WE WON!

YAY! Thanks to my momlikeme supporters out there, the kids and I won tickets to the North Florida Fair via a web contest on the Tallahassee Mom's Like Me website. We are very excited about this news, the kids and I all have photos that will be submitted for judging this year, so we will be able to go by and see if we won any of the photo contests. I would like to send a really big Thank You to all of my momslikeme friends that went and voted, we couldn't have done it without you!

Red Ribbon Week - Crazy Hair Day

Today was crazy hair day, so Daniel helped the kids get ready this morning, and what a great job he did getting them all dressed up.

Red Ribbon Week - Crazy Hat Day

The kids are enjoying Red Ribbon week at school, this is the week that they hear someone besides us tell them to stay away from drugs and alcohol. Each day this week they have a different theme. It started with Crazy Hat Day, Donovan wore a hat that we bought in Sea World this past year while Natalie decided to make hers using goodies that she found at the local Goodwill. They were so proud of their creations.

Halloween Howl at the Jr Museum

The kids and I went to the Halloween Howl at the Jr Museum this past weekend and was it ever FUN! We walked the not so spooky trail, made Halloween grams for Daniel since he couldn't be there with us and we played lots and lots of games. The kids got their faces painted and Natalie was a little upset that we didn't go down the Spooky Trail, but we could here grown ups screaming from down the path, so I decided it was probably too much for my little ghouls. But she eventually forgave me and went on to have her fortune told by the gypsy.

Sunday afternoon at the Pumpkin Patch

The kids and I headed out to the Pumpkin Patch yesterday to pick out our Halloween pumpkin. It was lots of fun, we decided on three, one big one, and two smaller ones. Not to mention the 21 that I picked up for Natalie's class activity on Friday, more to come on that later.

Cold Saturday Morning

Saturday morning was COLD, and Natalie had cheerleading, alot of the girls were out due to different things going on, and I think the ones that were there were more interested in their new pom poms than anything else, but we made it through and are looking forward to another game this Saturday, only this one starts at 10am, woo hoo!

Backyard Football

Donovan and Natalie decided to play a little football yesterday, Natalie had come in the house so excited that she was beating Donovan 7 to ZERO! After watching a round, I now see why, in case you can't hear her, she is yelling TOUCHDOWN, TOUCHDOWN as soon as he goes to tackle her.

Are you ready for some football!!!

Papa Frank and Nana Carol had a camp out in the new fifth wheel on Saturday night with the kids, so Daniel and I decided to take advantage and went to the FSU vs Georgia Tech football game. Boy did we ever have fun, we got to meet up with Allison, my friend from high school, and her beau, Brian, they were celebrating their one year anniversary on Saturday! It was wonderful getting to catchup, Allison lives in Tampa and we don't get to see each other but about once a year, so catching up in person is always fun, I don't think the boys got too many words in, but they were busy with football. And I just have to say that I know that Daniel's Dad was watching him Saturday night with one cheshire cat grin seeing his son, who is a devout GATOR fan, wearing the garnet and gold and cheering on his beloved Noles and supporting Bobby Bowden who Mr. David adored. And we have to send out a HUGE thank you to Aunt Mary Ann, Uncle Herman, Mike and Judy for sending us their tickets, what a wonderful night it was!

Saturday Tie Dye Fun

The kids have been dying to tie dye some tshirts, so Saturday afternoon made for a perfect opportunity. Other than helping with the rubberbands, they did everything on their own.
