Saturday Hunting

 

Saturday, Daniel took Natalie and I hunting with him. We had a great time, we got to see a couple of fox squirels and a couple of does. Natalie and Carson got to play their DS' together and it was great for all of us.

The Many Faces of Natalie

 

So I am becoming increasing concerned with Natalie's fascination of taking pictures of herself, but for now it is still really cute, ask me about it when she is 16 and that may be a different answer. Anyway, I had to share some of the pics that she has taken of herself, just for a point of reference, out of the 48 pictures she has taken since I let her start using my camera, 22 of them are of her.

Superman Ice Cream

 

Okay, so on Tuesday nights we typically go out to dinner, and one of those nights we hit Myra Jeans restaurant and they have this ice cream that is red, yellow and blue, it reminds us of Superman, thus we have named it Superman Ice Cream. Anyway, this is Natalie after eating her scoop, and yes, this stuff tastes as bad as it sounds, but Donovan and Natalie seem to like it okay.

Natalie has been a picture taking fool lately, I just got my camera back from her so that I could download the pictures she has taken so far, and this is one that she caught last weekend when Daniel and the kids all went hunting together, Mommy was in town with Carly taking engagement photos, but this one turned out really cute so I had to share.

San Marcos Fort

 

The kids and I went down to the fort in St Marks yesterday. Natalie got to take pics while Donovan navigated the trail and told us about each of the historical landmarks based on the brochure. It was a nice outing and the kids seemed to enjoy seeing everything. We even had an encounter with a racoon.

Christian and Matt

 

This weekend Carly and I got together with Christian and Matt to take a few engagement pics for them. We ended up with several hundred shots, but here are a couple of the cute couple. Congrats guys, we wish you both the very best!

Carly, Leah and the kids came over to celebrate the new year with us since Dan had to work. We had a fire, roasted some mini marshmallows and shot off fire works. The kiddies had a blast ringing in the new year, even if they were all asleep by 11.
