Daniel/Donovan

 

For all of you who say that Donovan looks more like me than Daniel. Here is a pic of Daniel when he was in 2nd grade. I'm pretty sure that Donovan has those green eyes and freckles just like his daddy.

Donovan's Dinosaur

 

 

Donovan started making a dinosaur earlier this year and it is now finished. We are so proud of him and his wonderful imagination. He really worked hard on this.

Papa Frank's Retirement

 

 

Papa Frank celebrated his retirement on Friday with a fish fry at his office. Donovan, Natalie and I met up with Nana Carol and Uncle Bill for the celebration.

Get to Work!

 

Natalie, Donovan and I went around and did some visiting on Friday after Papa Frank's retirement party. We stopped by Nana Carol's office, Grandmother Pam's office and we topped our visiting off with a trip to Allie's Ice Cream Shop...whew what a day.

Strawberries!!!

 

We have got the most loved strawberries in Wakulla County. Natalie is out at her strawberry patch almost every day, talking to them, watching over them and making sure they are growing. She got to taste the first one of the bunch on Saturday, just before Donovan's birthday party, and since then, she has kept an even closer eye on the ones that are starting to turn. Man has she enjoyed her time in the garden, almost as much as her Daddy.

Donovan is 8

 

Donovan turned 8 on Saturday, and he wanted to have a sleepover with his friends, so we did. Whew, what a night it was. We had pizza and dirt cake around 6 with all of our friends and family and the kids stayed for the rest of the night. We hatched dinosaur eggs, we made bugs, we ate popcorn and went to bed around midnight. But never fail, the kids were up and ready for breakfast at 7am. Once everyone went home yesterday, Dan and I spent the day....well.....relaxing.
